The traditional engineering process saw an engineer creating a design, testing it, and iterating prototypes until the design performed as desired. Although this work flow pre-dates CAD and CAE technology, many manufacturers design processes continue to follow it. The first wave of simulation technology reduced the need to test physical prototypes, but now the role of simulation has evolved beyond just validating CAD models. Finally, the laws of physics are starting to drive product design. In the present competitive market CAE has evolved as a hand in tool to reduce the product development period and also proved as a cost cutting approach by reducing number of physical prototypes for testing with its simulation capabilities. CAE or Computer Aided Engineering, refers to the construction and analysis of objects using virtual methods. CAE includes activities of design, planning, construction, analysis and production planning preparation, all within a computer-generated environment which helps to reduces the product development time along with cost cutting.

EDATTECH uses CFD for the analysis of Injection Pump.The Fuel-Injection Pump (FIP) is basically used in diesel engine as it has a higher-pair cam-mechanism to pressurize the fuel for injection.
As the industries are growing the pollution is growing exponentially. EDATTECH have designed Dust collection and environment control system for the better view of sky.
We perform the flow and temperature fields analysis inside the shell using a commercial CFD package. A set of CFD simulations is performed for a single shell and single tube.
Prediction of natural and by-pass transition in a pure CFD code is not possible. For such applications a tuned CFD code for this type of applications is used at EDATTECH
